In my career I've created ads and packaging graphics for some well known companies and brands filling various roles from production artist to art director. I have taken finished concept art and moved it to production level and have also been a catalyst for taking an idea and bringing it to life, adding drama and emotion. I have also started at the roots of a project, taking a thought or idea and crafting it into a living design. My skill set began taking shape in the University of Cincinnati DAAP program where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial design in 1993. Since then I have used those visual communication skills designing everything from simple T-shirts all the way to producing final packaging art for products such as Tide and Crest, and creating enhanced imagery used in advertising for clients such as USG, Hobart Corp and Pitney Bowes. I have 16 years of experience in various types of environments, both studio and agency and exhibit high proficiency with most traditional design software, including an estimated 20,000 hours of real-world Photoshop experience. |

Creating great imagery is a critical element in the success of a project. It can make or break an ad campaign. It can be the difference between a consumer choosing one product over another. It can reach out to an audience making them think, influencing their opinions and decisions. This is the challenge we face as designers and it is what drives me to create great work.
